Educational Qualification
To be eligible, candidates must have:
- 10th/SSC pass with minimum 55% marks
- Along with ITI/National/State Trade Certificate in the relevant trade
OR - 2 years full-time apprenticeship in relevant trade
OR - 3 years of work experience in a relevant trade in a Govt./PSU/Autonomous Body
Salary and Pay Level
- Pay Level: Level-2 (₹19,900 – ₹63,200) as per 7th CPC
- Approx. Monthly Salary: ₹38,500 (including allowances at Bengaluru city rates)
Selection Process
The selection process consists of two stages:
- Stage-I: Trade Test – Qualifying in nature.
- Stage-II: Written Examination
- Paper-I: Mental Ability (50 Qs, 100 Marks)
- Paper-II: General Awareness & English Language (25 Qs each, 75 Marks each)
- Paper-III: Subject/Trade-based (50 Qs, 150 Marks)
