Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

  • Navik (GD): 12th passed with Maths & Physics (COBSE recognized board)
  • Navik (DB): 10th passed (COBSE recognized)
  • Yantrik: 10th + Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Telecom (AICTE approved)

2. Age Limit

  • 18 – 22 years (Cut-off: Born between 01 Aug 2004 – 01 Aug 2008 for Navik GD/DB)
  • Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (non-creamy)

Selection Process

The selection will be done through four stages:

  1. Stage-I: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
  2. Stage-II: PFT + Document Verification + Medical Exam
  3. Stage-III: Final DV & Pre-enrolment Medical at INS Chilka
  4. Stage-IV: Final document verification

Written Exam Pattern

  • Navik (DB): Section I (60 marks)
  • Navik (GD): Section I + II (60 + 50 marks)
  • Yantrik: Section I + III/IV/V based on trade (60 + 50 marks)

Time Duration: 45 minutes to 90 minutes depending on section.

Note: No negative marking.

Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

  • 1.6 Km run in 7 minutes
  • 20 Squats (Uthak Baithak)
  • 10 Push-ups

Candidates should carry sports shoes and attire for PFT.

Salary & Benefits

  • Navik (GD/DB): ₹21,700/- + DA (Level 3)
  • Yantrik: ₹29,200/- + ₹6,200 Yantrik Pay + DA (Level 5)
