Eligibility Criteria (as on 1 July 2025)
Nationality:
Candidates must be:
- Indian citizens or
- Subjects of Nepal/Bhutan/Tibetan refugees (with eligibility certificate from GoI)
Age Limit:
- Varies post-wise: Between 21–40 years depending on the position.
- Age relaxations applicable as per government norms.
Educational Qualification & Experience:

Salary & Pay Scale
- Grade B (e.g., Legal/Manager): ₹78,450 – ₹1,41,600 + perks
Gross: approx. ₹1.49 lakh/month (excl. HRA) - Grade A (e.g., Assistant Manager): ₹62,500 – ₹1,26,100 + perks
Gross: approx. ₹1.22 lakh/month (excl. HRA)
Selection Process
Selection will be based on:
- Written/Online Exam (Objective + Descriptive Papers)
- Interview
Each post has a unique exam structure. For example:
Legal Officer in Grade ‘B’
- Paper I (Law): 150 marks
- Paper II (English Descriptive): 100 marks
- Interview: 40 marks
Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha):
- Online Objective + Descriptive
- Interview: 35 marks
